Spanish Investors confirm presence for VII International Investment Meeting

Groups ECTC Real Estate Investment and Aransa are coming to Brazil in search of local partners to develop projects in the real estate and tourism markets.

Spanish groups ECTC Real Estate Investment and Aransa have confirmed their presence for the VII International Real Estate and Tourism Investment Meeting, an event promoted by ADIT Brasil that will occur on the 5th of August in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina at the Majestic Palace Hotel. Investors are coming to the country in search of investment opportunities in the Brazilian real estate and tourism market.

Ivar Yuste, vice-president of business development for Grupo ECTC, is interested in investing in urban hotels. He is also searching for Brazilian partners to invest in hotel projects that are in the building phase or already operating. The group has 15 years of experience in Latin America, Europe and North America, and has shown interest in investing via joint venture partnership with local business partners.

The CFO for Aransa, Jésus Esteban Criado, wants to venture residential projects, including social housing that is in the Minha Casa Minha Vida program. Aside from the residential sector, the Spanish construction company also is interested in investing in logistics centers, commercial building and shopping centers.

During the event, the financial director for Grupo Aransa and the vice-president of ECTC will participate in the business round, in which national executives will have an opportunity to present their projects to investors.

For the president of ADIT Brasil, Felipe Cavalcante, this is an opportunity for Brazilian professionals to perform an outreach for investors. “In other events like these, in other capitals of Brazil, professionals have already closed the deal with investors. The success of the business round depends on well-formatted projects and an adequate profile that they are searching for. Aside from the business round, the Spanish investors will participate in a panel discussion involving what foreign investors are searching for in Brazil and how to benefit from the real estate and tourism potential.

The event will also host another five panels that will broach the subject of international expectations, hotel group plans for Brazil, legal safety, the forestry code and how to draw in capital resources from investment funds.
